How to Stop Procrastination From Killing Your Business..
Lately I have been thinking to myself just how incredible it is to see so many people out there banging their heads against the brick wall wondering why they are failing in their Network Marketing business…
I figured out why? Because they have no real business!
I’m gonna break it down for you today and show you the exact steps to take in order to see some results in your business, whether it be online or offline—In fact the advise I’m going to be sharing with you can apply to anything you do in your business.
Why do we procrastinate when we know it’s bad
Most people procrastinate simply because they are hardwired to when they have high expectations, which were inflicted upon them since childhood. It has been proven by psychologist that we procrastinate due to the rebellious nature between our emotions and our actions.
This means that in order to break-free from procrastination you must free yourself from feelings of anxiety, worry and disbelieve and release any emotional baggage you may have and just let go. One example of this is that people just getting starting in this industry might feel inferior from their competition as they think they are less important because they have less experience, knowledge and skills.
Kill procrastination once and for all…
- Don’t focus on what others are doing. Instead home-in on what you are good at and develop that skill by consuming yourself with resources on how to get better at it.—Practice makes perfect.
- Listen to the little voice in your head. Start asking yourself questions like, “Is what I am doing producing me money?” if not then, ‘What must I do in order to produce money?”.
- Develop the mindset of a 7 figure leader. Does a leader look at their computer waiting for something to happen, of course not. They take massive action—You need to be the person you want to become before becoming it.
- Performing the daily tasks a 7 figure earner would do which is picking up the phone no matter what and calling people, if you are not doing that you are not closing and if you are not closing you are not making money. Simple as that. The phone should be the next best thing to water and air. You need water and air to live right? Well you need to constantly be in contact with people and closing to make money.
- Prospecting-up. If you think you lack a certain skill then why not attract people with those skills into your business. If you are avoiding going after higher quality prospects then you will always maintain a low quality team. How do you think Microsoft and Apple got to where they are now? They hired people with the necessary skills required to get the job done, You need to attract those same people into your business, the high-flyers, the go-getters, the doers! This will create leverage for you and is technique serial-entrepreneurs use to build their businesses.
- And finally, follow the Pareto Principle (80/20 rule). You must spend 80% of your time daily on money making activities which will grow your business and take it to the next level. This includes selling affiliate products or services, qualify your leads by picking up the phone and making sure you close the sale. The other 20% is focused on tasks such as lead generation, creating videos, articles and social networking. You should not need to spend along time on those activities, maximum 2-3 hours per day.
Follow these points daily and make them apart of your life not simply something you do temporarily.
To your Success,
